May 13, 2019 -- As an engineering major, Colton Russell found himself looking at many options of where to go to college. Wichita State University, he says, "just felt right."

May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State alumnus Chris Rempe graduated just seven years ago, but is already making an impact on WSU and local industry.

April 26, 2019 -- The May Day Pop-Up Picnic will take place from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, north of the Rhatigan Student Center on the WSU campus.

April 16, 2019 -- Ryan Kendall, a senior from Pelham, Alabama, is a computer science major who took the long route to Wichita State’s Selected Team. He didn’t make the team as a freshman and spent the past two seasons on the Developmental Team. Wichita State coach Gordon Vadakin estimates around 10 percent of the bowlers who don’t make the team in their early years continue to try out for a spot on the Selected Team.

April 2, 2019 -- A plan to build a new Student-Athlete Success Center and renovate parts of Charles Koch Arena is moving forward.

March 18, 2019 -- In newly released national rankings of universities offering a Ph.D. in engineering, the College of Engineering at Wichita State University is ranked in the top 100 engineering graduate programs, one of only two institutions from the state of Kansas to make the list.

March 7, 2019 -- Wichita State University’s School of Performing Arts will present “The Theory of Relativity”, the musical (rated PG).

Jan. 17, 2019 -- 2018 Wichita State alumnus Brock Milford has won the prestigious FAA Centers of Excellence DOT Secretary of Transportation Student RAISE Award.

Dec. 20, 2018 -- On Dec. 16, Wichita State University students walked across the stage in Charles Koch Arena for their graduation ceremony.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- Trudy Martin is a fifth-year senior at WSU studying electronic media and is an intern at KMUW.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.
